Description: The Neuchâtel Pattern has been obsolete for more than 70 years, therefore, it is hard to find.
The special thing about this particular deck is that it is the first double ended version → all court cards have the suit index on the same side as in the single faced version (compare here), which means that these five cards have the suit symbol on the right hand side: Spade King and Queen; Heart Jack, Diamond Queen and Club King. This was soon corrected by mirroring those five cards and therefore, the double ended version, where five cards have the suit index on the right hand side are very rare, while with the suit symbol is on the left hand side is the common version (compare here).
Beschreinung: Das Neuenburger Kartenbild ist seit über 70 Jahren veraltet und daher schwer zu finden.
Dies ist die erste Version vom Neuenburger Doppelbild. Das Besondere an diesem Kartenspiel ist, dass sich bei allen Bildkarten die Farb-Indices auf derselben Seite befinden, wie bei der einköpfigen Version (vergleiche hier). Das bedeutet, dass diese fünf Karten das Farbsymbol auf der rechten Seite haben: Pik-König und -Dame; Herz-Bube, -Dame und Treff-König. Dies wurde jedoch bald korrigiert, indem diese fünf Karten gespiegelt wurden. Daher sind doppelköpfige Versionen, bei denen es Farbzeichen auf der rechten Seite gibt, sehr selten, während die Version mit allen Farb-Indices auf der linken Seite die gängigere ist (siehe hier).
