Description: Kings, Queens and Jacks show Sam the mascot for the 1984 Olymipic Games, the other cards are regular cards from the Anglo-American Pattern.
Beschreibung: Sam, der olympische Adler war das Maskottchen für die Olaympischen Spiele 1984 in Los Angeles. Er wird auf den Figurenkarten König, Dame und Bube abgebildet. Die anderen Karten sind normale Karten vom angloamerikanischen Bild. Die Extrakarten bestehen aus eine Garantie-Karte und einer Hersteller-Karte, die als Joker verwendet werden können. Die dritte Extrakarte beinhaltet weitere Karten-Decks die ebenfalls im Verkauf waren. Original Papp-Schachtel.

Box: Still in original plasic case. Sony specifically chose an audio cassette jewel case for this promotional release as a clever, self-referential design gimmick.
Description: The four Aces have some writing in the suit symbol: Technology (Spade), Digital (Heart), Reliability (Diamond) and Service (Club). All other 48 cards show some Sony electronic equipment. One extra card has contact information, the other one is more or less a blank card, just with the writing "Sony Broadcast".
Beschreibung: Die vier Asse tragen Beschriftungen im jeweiligen Farbzeichen: "Technology" (Pik), Digital (Herz), "Reliability" (Karo) und Service (Treff). Alle anderen 48 Karten zeigen Elektronikgeräte von Sony. Auf einer der Zusatz-Karten befinden sich Kontaktinformationen, die andere ist mehr oder weniger eine leere Karte, auf der lediglich "Sony Broadcast" steht. Für diese Werbe-Veröffentlichung wurde eine Plastik-Box gewählt, die ganz bewusst an die Audio-Kassettenhüllen erinnert; ein cleverer, auf sich selbst bezogener Design-Gag. Diese originale Plastik-Hülle ist dabei.

Great pictues including fantasy sea monsters and legendary seafarers (mystical and real), e.g Sindbad, the Flying Dutchman, Lord Nelson. Every card (except the 10s) has a picture; the pip cards each have a ship. One deck with green, the other with brown back.
Beschreibung: Von der Deutschen Seereederei Rostock (VEB in der DDR). Großartige Bilder, darunter fantastische Seeungeheuer und legendäre Seefahrer (mystische und reale), z. B. Sindbad, der Fliegende Holländer, Lord Nelson. Jede Karte (außer den 10ern) zeigt ein Bild; die Zahlenkarten zeigen jeweils ein Schiff. Ein Deck hat eine grüne, das andere eine braune Rückseite.
